I'm Teona Burchuladze — a travel obsessive, fashion lover, and storyteller who believes the best journeys are the ones that change us.
Born in Georgia (the country, not the state — though I get that a lot!), I've called London home for the past 11 years. But my heart? It's scattered across beach huts in Bali, overwater villas in the Maldives, and that perfect little hotel in Tulum I can never stop recommending.
I started Teona Wanderlust in 2017 as a creative outlet while running my fashion business. What began as sharing holiday snaps quickly grew into a community of 200,000+ fellow travel lovers who trust me to find the most beautiful, worthwhile places to visit.
Over the years, I've been fortunate to partner with some of the world's most incredible hotels — from Four Seasons and Six Senses to boutique gems that don't appear in any guidebook.
How I Travel
Intentional
I believe in slow travel — staying longer in fewer places, truly immersing in local culture rather than rushing through a checklist.
Authentic
Every hotel, restaurant, and experience I share is genuinely loved. I only recommend places I'd send my own family to.
Mindful
Luxury doesn't have to mean excess. I prioritize properties that care about sustainability and their local communities.

When I'm not exploring new destinations, you'll find me in London running my businesses, walking my golden cockapoo Poppy (she's basically my third child), or planning the next adventure with my husband and two kids.
I've owned a fashion business for over 12 years — which is probably why I can't help but notice the interior design of every hotel I visit and why "what to wear" is always part of my travel guides.
My dream destinations still on the list? The Seychelles, Japan during cherry blossom season, and a safari in Botswana. If you have recommendations, I'm always listening!
